Get to Know Me!

Hello, my name is Emilia Burnham! I am a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California: Riverside studying entomology. I plan on getting my PhD in Entomology as well. I am interested in honeybee health and their social immunity, as well as insect-derived medications like melittin from honeybee venom. I have a passion for women's health and science communication/outreach! When I'm not doing science, I enjoy dancing (ballet, tap, ballroom), painting, drawing, baking, and reading romance novels.
